The picturesque beach and fishing village of Montezuma is only a good mile from the hotel and is regarded as one of the most beautiful landscapes of Costa Rica. Cabo Blanco, the first Absolute Nature Reserve founded in Costa Rica, is only four miles away.

Activities

Activities range from hiking through Cabo Blanco, horseback-riding to one of the gorgeous waterfalls, diving and or snorkeling, boat trips to Tortuga Island, sea-kayaking, bird watching, yoga, reiki or a therapeutic massage – we offer many activities in cooperation with local tour operators. There are also golf courses nearby.

The following activities are highlights of the region:

• Boat & Snorkeling Trip to Tortuga Island (includes snorkeling gear, beverages and great lunch on the island, duration: approx. 6 hours, rate per person: US$ 50)
• Full-day Boat trip to the mouth of Rio Tarcoles on the mainland to watch crocodiles, red aras and much more, duration: 8 hours, incl. beverages and lunch, rate p.p. US$ 120)
• Horse-Back Riding along Montezuma´s beaches all the way to the Cocalito waterfall, includes water & fruit, duration: approx. 4 hours, rate p. p.: US$ 40)
